\u201cLasers in the Conservation of Artworks<\/em>\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0is the International Conference on advances in photonic techniques for diagnostics and conservation-restoration of cultural heritage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For almost 30 years, LACONA has gathered together researchers, conservators, and restorers from public institutions and private enterprises to discuss novel approaches in non-invasive material characterization, conservation treatments, and monitoring based on photon sources and sensors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The pilot edition of the LACONA conferences was held in 1995, in Greece, prompted by the scientific and technological development of laser ablation applications in the conservation of stone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since then, the LACONA conference series has become a well-established tradition, periodically bringing together specialists from all around the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The past 13 editions took place in Greece (1995), UK (1997), Italy (1999), France (2001), Germany (2003), Austria (2005), Spain (2007), Romania (2009), UK (2011), UAE (2014), Poland (2016), France (2018), and Italy (2022).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year, INOE 2000<\/a><\/strong> is honored to host The XIVth<\/sup> Edition of LACONA<\/strong>, the most prestigious conference in the field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
